Accident

No injuries were reported Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 3:22 p.m. Feb. 22, a 2011 Ford Taurus, driven by Brayleyann Davis, 16, of Creston, failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz, driven by Breeana Bower, 17, of Massena. Davis was at a stop sign, northbound on Pine Street. Davis left the stop sign and attempted to turn left onto Highway 34, pulling out in front of Bower, who was eastbound on the highway. Bower was unable to avoid a collision with Davis.

Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $1,000 each.
