Creston Police report - June 14, 2024

Kristin J. Gross, 41, of Creston, was taken into custody 5:55 p.m. June 13, in the 600 block of North Poplar Street on the charge of disorderly conduct - loud raucous noise.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were at the Gross’ residence conducting a harassment investigation on her son. When Gross’s son was taken into custody, she began screaming about the situation. She was warned by officers to stop at least three times but she continued screaming.

Gross was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.

Huntor J. Gross, 21, of Creston was taken into custody 5:55 p.m. June 13, in the 600 block of North Popular Street on the charge of harassment, second degree - threaten bodily injury.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:19 p.m. Gross left a voicemail threatening to physically assault the victim, including going to the victim’s location and kicking him in the stomach. Gross made admissions to officers about leaving the voicemail.

Gross was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Brandon J. Case, 32, of Afton, was taken into custody 7:41 p.m. June 13, in the 600 block of West Adams Street on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, officers observed Case driving a 2016 Dodge Caravan on Spruce Street. Case is known to not have a valid driver’s license. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with Case, who told officers he knew his license was suspended. After running his information, it was discovered Case had a barred license.

Case was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.

Micheal D. Williams, 53, of Creston, was taken into custody 4:58 p.m. June 13, at his residence on a Union County warrant for the charges of domestic abuse assault - impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury and harassment, first degree.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 8 p.m. June 10, Williams assaulted his live-in girlfriend. The victim told officers Williams came home intoxicated and sat down next to her on the couch. She said she could tell by his breathing and look on his face he was going to snap. When the victim stood up to leave, Williams kicked her in the ribs with his boots still on. The victim said she felt a pop and sharp stabbing pain when she was kicked. Williams then jumped on the victim and pressed one of his elbows into her neck while hitting her in the face with his other hand.

The victim said she could not breathe and she though she was going to pass out. The victim said the look in Williams’ eyes made her think he was going to kill her. During the incident, the victim said Williams told her if she called the cops she would be a “bloody pulp” before they arrived. When Williams let the victim up, he told her to leave town. The victim then had a friend take her to the emergency room for medical care. The victim was also observed to have a cut on her nose.

Williams was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $7,000 cash or surety bond.

Jessica L. Wilker, 35, of Creston was cited at 10 a.m. June 12, for animal at large.

According to a Creston Police report, dogs belonging to Wilker were reported for being allowed to run at large and go to the bathroom on other people’s lawns. Officers observed the dogs getting out while reviewing Wilker’s camera footage. The reporting party told officers this had been an ongoing issue, which resulted in assault charges in May. The reporting party showed officers pictures of the dogs defecating on her property.

Wilker was released at the scene on a summons to appear.
