Nova Belle Riekena, 7, of Osceola died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018.

Nova Belle Riekena, daughter of Chad Michael Riekena and Suzanne Elizabeth Levy, was born Dec. 30, 2010, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Nova, at the age of 4 months, developed multiple brain tumors that took her sight, and abilities to walk or talk. She attended Clarke Elementary School.

Nova is survived by her father Chad Riekena of Osceola; mother Suzanne Levy and sister Kira Levy of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandparents, Jeff Riekena of Osceola, Paula and Kevin Schuldt of West Branch and Debra and Ken Steil of Scottsdale, Arizona; uncles, Todd Riekena, Shaun (Katie) Riekena and Chance Schuldt; cousins, Levin and Annella; great-grandparents, Ron and Sally Riekena of Osceola and Sharon Schuldt of Osceola; many other relatives and friends.
