Union County arrest - April 15, 2024

Jackie L. Marler, 38, of Thayer, was taken into custody April 14 on Michigan and 6th streets in Lorimor on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 11:49 a.m. a Dodge Durango was stopped on a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Marler, who admitted to deputies his license was recently barred. Marler’s information was ran and he was confirmed to have a barred license.

Marler was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.
