Glen R. Horn

Glen Horn, 66, of Orient, died Monday, May 18, 2026, at Accura HealthCare of Creston. No public services will be held. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery near Macksburg at a later date.

Glen Richard Horn, son of LeRoy Claus Horn and Marian Kay (Henry) Horn, was born July 1, 1959, in Corning. Glen graduated from Orient-Macksburg School in 1977, setting the foundation for his future endeavors.

He spent nearly two decades at Bunn-O-Matic, where he served as a supervisor, earning respect and admiration from colleagues for his hard work and leadership until his health began to decline. His career also included a fulfilling period at Innovative Industries, where he continued to apply his skills and dedication. Beyond his professional life, Glen found joy and solace in nature, particularly through his love of horses and fishing. These interests were more than hobbies; they brought him peace and happiness throughout his life.

Surviving him are his sister Patricia Savage of Orient; his daughter Kalli Young and her husband Luke of Creston and two grandchildren, Calvin and Maddy. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Claus Horn and Marian Kay (Henry) Horn, as well as his brother Ronald Horn.
