Dallas L. Ahnen, 81, of Asbury, Missouri, died Nov. 6, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri.

Dallas Lou Ahnen, 81, passed away Nov. 6, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born Jan. 2, 1942, in Adair County and attended Richland Consolidated School. Upon graduation he served in the Air Force. He attended college at Southwestern Community College in Creston, and received a bachelors degree from Bethany Nazarene (Southern Nazarene) in Bethany, Oklahoma, and a masters of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

Dallas is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathy Ahnen of Asbury, Missouri; daughters, Amy Beaver of Branson, Missouri,
and Tanya Fifer of Bentonville, Arkansas; son, Daniel Ahnen (Dana) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren: Mikayla Beaver, Nathan Beaver, Jenna Beaver, Sheridan Fifer, Joshua Fifer, Caleb Fifer, Katie Joy Fifer, Laura Ahnen and William Ahnen; great-grandchild, Jameson Atkinson and sisters: Phyllis (Ron) Zwank, Mary Jane (Robert) and Barb Trieff.

He was preceded in death by parents, William H. Ahnen and Velma (Brezo) Ahnen and brother, William Dean Ahnen.

Private internment will be at the Carl Junction Cemetery in Jasper County, Missouri.
