Joyce Manley, 72, of Creston, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at EveryStep Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston.

Celebration of life memorials services will be held 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave, in Creston. Pastor Rick Titus will officiate the service. Open visitation with family present will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Joyce Ann (Miller) Manley, daughter of Clifford A. and Pauline Elizabeth (Fry) Miller, was born on April 2, 1947, in Osceola. She graduated from Creston High School in 1965.

On November 21, 1964, Joyce married John Christensen in Creston. They later divorced.

Joyce married Marion Manley in March of 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joyce resided most of her life in Creston other than ten years from 1989-1999 when she moved to Camdenton Missouri, where she worked at Blair Cedar.

Joyce was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Elks in Creston.

Joyce is survivied her daughter Jana (Lynn) Weland of Creston; son James Christensen of Creston; step-son Greg Manley of Malvern; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; brothers: Don Miller of Creston, Scott Miller of Creston and David (Bonnie) Miller of Hemit, California; sisters-in-law: Brenda Miller of Waukee and Peggy Miller of Creston; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Bradford Miller and Steve Miller.
