Tyler-Leith named president of Tyler Insurance Agency

Phillip J. Tyler, CIC, CPIA and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tyler Insurance Agency in Creston and Mount Ayr, announced Devon Tyler-Leith, CIC, CRM, was elected president of the agency effective Nov. 15.

Tyler-Leith is a Creston High School (CHS) graduate and graduate of the University of Iowa College of Business. She has worked for the agency for nearly 20 years and has received the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor in 2007 and Certified Risk Manager in 2014. For the last 12 years, Tyler-Leith has been the head of personal lines and health insurance divisions of the agency.

She is active in the community, currently serving on the Greater Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors, Creston Booster Club and, recently, served on the Chamber of Commerce Board.

Tyler-Leith has four sons who are graduates of CHS: Quin, wife Lacey and son Hudson of Chicago; Zachary and fiancée Sarah of Omaha, Nebraska; and Gavin and Cameron, both of Creston. She has been a member of the community for 50 years and looks forward to the challenges of her new position. The agency will continue to support the Crestland area and Southwest Iowa in general, as they grow and prosper together.

Phil Tyler will remain as chairman of the board and specialize in commercial lines and medical insurance.
