Creston girls moved to 4-0 on the new fall tennis season by opening Hawkeye Ten Conference play at home Tuesday in an 8-1 victory over Red Oak.
The Panthers opened the meet by sweeping all three doubles matches before going 5-1 in singles play. Several other team members competed in JV matches.
“It was a very warm day for the girls to play tennis, but both teams handled it well,” Creston coach Kevin Cooper said. “It was also nice to get a lot of JV matches in.”

The Panthers played at Shenandoah Thursday and competed in the Saydel Invitational Friday morning. Those results will appear in Monday’s News Advertiser.
