The Panthers opened the meet by sweeping all three doubles matches before going 5-1 in singles play. Several other team members competed in JV matches.

“It was a very warm day for the girls to play tennis, but both teams handled it well,” Creston coach Kevin Cooper said. “It was also nice to get a lot of JV matches in.”

Seniors honored with their parents prior to the meet Tuesday afternoon were Lila Berning, Savannah Jacques, Lilly James and Hollynn Rieck.

The Panthers played at Shenandoah Thursday and competed in the Saydel Invitational Friday morning. Those results will appear in Monday’s News Advertiser.
