The Hawkeye Ten Activity Conference is pleased to announce that, following a meeting held on July 7, invitations have been extended to Carroll Community School District and Treynor Community School District to join the conference.
Both schools have been given until September 1 to formally indicate their interest in becoming members of the Hawkeye Ten. Other schools were discussed, but no other invitations will be sent at this time.
This decision aligns with the conference’s previously announced plan to restructure the league into large and small school divisions. The addition of Carroll and Treynor would support this effort and help foster a more balanced and sustainable competitive environment for all member schools.
Please note that this release serves as the official communication from the Hawkeye Ten regarding this matter. Any other commentary or speculation should be considered unofficial and hearsay. We encourage all members of our community to rely on this and future formal communications for accurate information.
