Wolverines deliver Raiders’ first loss of the season

Mount Ayr suffered their first loss of the season Tuesday to Nodaway Valley, 71-60.

Dawson Nelson and Boston DeVault each made five 3-pointers for the Wolverines, scoring 21 and 19 points, respectively.

Nodaway Valley improved to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the Pride of Iowa Conference.
Braydon Pierson scored 20 points for Mount Ayr, now 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Jaixon Frost scored 15 points.
