Diagonal drops five set heartbreaker to Mormon Trail

DIAGONAL – The Maroonettes fell to the Mormon Trail Saints Monday night (21-25, 25-20, 25-14, 22-25, 14-16) which dropped their season record to 9-11.

Taylor Lumbard led Diagonal with 21 kills and Kira Egly added 24 digs. Kerrigan Mobley and Lumbard closely trailed Egly with 23 and 20 digs respectively.

East Union swept by Southeast Warren

LIBERTY CENTER – The Eagles were defeated by a foe of a different feather, a Warhawk, in straight sets Monday night (12-25, 9-25, 11-25). The Eagles finish their season at 8-17.

Cowgirls lasso Lenox

SIDNEY – Lenox got swept by Sidney, (15-25, 9-25, 16-25) in Class 1A - Region 2 First Round action Monday night.

Bulldogs fall to Cougars

ANITA – Orient-Macksburg finished their season at CAM Monday where the Bulldogs fell in straight sets, (25-7, 25-7, 25-12).
