Creston’s Kelsey Fields honored as South Central Iowa Female Athlete of the Year

Kelsey Fields of Creston receives her award as South Central Iowa Female Athlete of the Year from Larry Peterson, freelance writer for the Creston News Advertiser. The award is presented by the News Advertiser and Osceola Sentinel-Tribune. Fields, a freshman on the Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team, was an all-state basketball player and the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder in girls 5-player basketball. She was also a multiple placewinner in track and field in the shot put and discus and an all-conference middle hitter in volleyball. (Contributed )
