The 66th annual John J. Harris Wrestling Tournament has updated its COVID-19 restrictions this week.
“Due to the Governor’s new proclamation and the IHSAA/IGHSAU guidelines we will now be allowing four spectators to attend per wrestler,” said a release sent by Southwest Valley athletic director Allen Naugle. “Tickets will be sent to each school attending to be handed out to each wrestler.”
Prior to changes announced in Gov. Kim Reynolds’ latest proclamation, spectators were limited to two per wrestler on each team. You can read more on details for the tournament here.
No other changes have been announced for the tournament as of Monday night. Twenty three teams will attend the wrestling tournament, including all teams in the CNA-area.
The John J. Harris Wrestling Tournament will be a two-day tournament with weight groups split across Jan. 22 and 23. The CNA will provide coverage on the tournament on social media throughout the day.
