A Greenfield man is being held on a $200,000 cash-only bond after being charged with five felonies related to sexual crimes against a child.
According to an Adair County report, deputies spoke with a female who said on Jan. 15, she discovered 28-year-old Kenneth D. Blazek sitting in front of her child, while the child was not wearing pants. Blazek was approximately 6 to 12 inches from the victim.
During a Star Center interview, the victim said Blazek played “games” with them, touching them inappropriately with hands and mouth.
According to the victim, Blazek said he would never leave the victim. The victim said Blazek loves them. These statements led to an additional grooming charge.
Blazek was charged with two counts of sexual abuse - second degree (Class B felony), two counts of lascivious acts with a child - fondle or touch (Class C felony) and one count of grooming (Class D felony).
Blazek was taken into custody April 6 and transported to the Adair County Jail where he is currently being held.
