Brooklyn M. Roberts, 20, of Creston, was taken into custody 5:17 p.m. March 21, at her residence on the charges of harassment, first degree - threaten forcible felony and criminal mischief, fifth degree – damage under $300.
According to Creston Police reports, vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 600 block of North Maple. The victim showed officers his car which had eggs, spaghetti sauce and tomato soup thrown across it and chocolate milk in the gas cap. The victim told officers he believed Roberts did it based on some messages he had sent other people which he showed officers.
Later in the day, officers had contact again with the victim and Roberts after the victim provided multiple messages sent to him from Roberts the previous day. In one message, Roberts said “All y’all can catch a bullet.” Roberts admitted she and a friend vandalized the vehicle.
Roberts was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $2,300 cash or surety bond.
