Creston Police: Des Moines man charged for failing to appear in court

James E. Jonsson, 34, of Des Moines, was taken into custody 10:19 p.m. Feb. 26, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of harassment, first degree.

According to Union County District Court documents, Jonsson was ordered to appear in court Feb. 28, 2025, for a pretrial conference on the original charge and did not.

Jonsson was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $2,000 cash-only bond.
