Creston Police: Creston woman charged for bringing methamphetamine to parole meeting

Deborah L. Graham, 60, of Creston, was taken into custody at approximately 10:54 a.m., Feb. 23 at the intersection of West Union Street and New York Avenue on a Union County warrant for the charge of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent.

According to a Creston Police report, on Dec. 19, 2025, Graham went to a parole meeting where she told the parole officer that she had used methamphetamine on Dec. 3, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18. She then gave the parole officer a green bottle with yellow capsules in it, saying she had placed methamphetamine in the capsules and taken them.

The parole officer turned the capsules over to the police who field tested them, finding them to test positive for methamphetamine.

Graham was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $5,000 cash or surety bond.
