A driver’s medical event resulted in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:06 p.m. a 2005 Dodge Ram, driven by Ronald D. Brammer, 82, of Prescott, was turning north onto the 600 block of South Maple Street, when Brammer said he suffered a medical event.
The event caused Brammer to black out, including loss of his vision. Brammer struck a 2007 Ford Econoline van which was legally parked in front of 609 S. Walnut St.
Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
Brammer was transported to Greater Regional Health by ambulance for unknown injuries.

Minor damage to two vehicles was reported Monday when a car backing out of a garage struck a car in the driveway.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 4 p.m. a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Misti Brown, 57, of Creston, was backing out from the center of a two-car garage in the 1000 block of North Mulberry Street when it struck a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder parked on the north side of the driveway. Brown told officers she looked, but did not see the other car.
Damage to the Nissan was estimated at $1,000 and damage to the Chrysler was estimated at $3,500.
