Accident: Car struck after pulling into oncoming traffic

No citations were issued in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 4:35 p.m. a 2003 Ford F350, driven by Wyatt B. Beebe, 22, of Creston, was eastbound on Highway 34 at the same time a 2009 Saturn Vue, driven by Anjel Saturno Hernandez, 22, of Creston, was southbound on Oak Street.

Saturno Hernandez looked but did not see the truck and proceeded across the intersection where the Satuen was hit by the F350.

Medics assessed Saturno Hernandez at the scene for shortness of breath but did not transport him.

Damage to the Saturn was estimated at $7,000 and damage to the Ford was estimated at $2,000.
