Accident: Lane change results in accident

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:56 a.m. a 2023 Ford Bronco, driven by Laurie J. Novotny, 54, of Creston and a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by William R. Attebury, 59, of Lenox, were both eastbound on Adams Street near the Elm Street intersection.

The Trailblazer, which was traveling in the inside lane, attempted to change lanes into the outside turning lane striking the Bronco.

Attebury said he looked before changing lanes and did not see the Bronco.

Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
