Jocelyn C. Blazek, 42, of Creston, was taken into custody at approximately 8:33 p.m., Monday, Jan. 19, on the charges of criminal mischief, fifth degree and trespassing, first offense.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, the Creston city councilwoman was informed by law enforcement that she was trespassed from a Cromwell property and was not allowed back on it. Blazek said she understood.
Approximately 45 minutes later, Blazek knowingly trespassed on the victim’s property by driving on it, defacing the lawn with her truck and resulting in property damage.
Blazek was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $600 cash or surety bond.
Tuesday morning, Blazek appeared before the magistrate where she pled not guilty.
