Creston Police: Barred driver charged Tuesday

Hayley J. Vandel, 32, of Thayer, was taken into custody 3:18 p.m. Jan. 6, in the 300 block of North Elm Street on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:59 p.m. officers observed Vandel driving a 2012 Ford Focus. Vandel is known to have a barred license which was confirmed by dispatch.

Vandel was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.
