Creston Police: A Creston man was cited after his dog attacked another dog

Ashton J. Olson, 34, of Creston, charged 12:22 p.m. Dec. 6, at his residence on the charge of animal at large.

According to a Creston Police report, a dog belonging to Olson was off of his property, unleashed and at large. The dog entered onto a property in the 600 block of North Birch Street where it attacked another dog. The dog was retrieved before any injuries occurred.

Olson was cited and released on a summons to appear.

Nikoli J. Wilson, 21, of Cumming, Georgia, was taken into custody 2:22 a.m. Dec. 9, at the Union Country Law Enforcement Center on the charge of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 1:25 a.m. a 2022 KIA K5 was observed traveling 41 mph in a 25 mph zone at Highway 34 and Division Street.

A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Wilson, and the odor of marijuana was detected. Wilson was asked how much marijuana was in the car and stated there was half of a blunt left.

A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and officers located the half blunt they were told about by Wilson.

Wilson was cited and released on a summons to appear.
