No citations were issued in a Tuesday morning accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:19 a.m. a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville, driven by Randie K. Ross, 61, of Kellerton, was westbound in the outside lane of Highway 34 near Sumner Avenue. A 2013 Volvo semi, driven by Dakota M. Stanton, 33, of Bethany, Missouri, was also westbound but in the inside lane.
As the semi approached the stop light, it attempted to merge due to vehicles stopped in the inside lane at the light and collided with the Pontiac. Stanton said he looked in his mirrors but did not see the vehicle.
The Pontiac was pushed up onto the shoulder of the road before coming to a stop.
Ross complained of pain and was checked by medics but was not transported.
Damage to the Pontiac was estimated at $2,000. No damage was reported to the semi.

Ice on the roadway was a factor in a single-car accident Nov. 30 in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:53 a.m. a 2015 Mercedes C300, driven by Djany Makosi, 31, of Lexington, Nebraska, was eastbound on Highway 34 at South Chestnut Street when it lost traction while negotiating a curve due to ice on the roadway.
The Mercedes spun and struck a curb on the north side of the highway, causing the rear passenger side tire to break off of the axle.
Police say Makosi driving too fast for conditions was a contributing factor to the accident.
Damage to the Mercedes was estimated at $1,200.
