Creston Police: Video leads to charges of court order violation for Creston woman

Joshua Z. Mohr, 39, of Bellevue, was taken into custody 8:12 p.m. Nov. 18, in the 1300 block of West Mills Street on the charge of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury, first offense.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7:55 p.m. a female contacted law enforcement and reported a physical altercation with Mohr that had just occurred.

The victim stated Mohr had slapped her in the neck with his gloves. Officers observed redness on the left side of the victim’s neck.

Mohr said he did not mean to hit the victim.

Mohr was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from on his own recognizance at his initial court appearance.

Taylor D. Fleming, 30, of Creston, was taken into custody 6:06 p.m. Nov. 18, at Summit and Chestnut streets on the charges of disorderly conduct - loud raucous noise, violation of a no contact order and harassment, second degree

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:37 p.m. officers responded to the area for a report of a female screaming. When they arrived, they observed Fleming, who was in yelling distance from the victim. Reports indicated Fleming had made threatening statements to the victim. In a video taken of the incident, Fleming can be heard making statements about assaulting the victim. Also in the video, Fleming is heard yelling another person’s name, who is a protected party in a protective order against Fleming.

Fleming was transported to the Ringgold County Jail and held on $1,300 cash or surety bond.
