Melissa F. Sanson, 58, of Nodaway, was taken into custody 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 on the charge of assault.
According to an Adams County report, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Sanson went to a residence in Corning. She engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim’s mother.
The victim witnessed the altercation turn physical and attempted to deescalate the situation and protect her mother by putting her arms around Sanson and walking her away from the situation. Sanson forcibly pushed the victim to the side. This physical contact was insulting and offensive to the victim.
Sanson was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash bond.

Camren J. Solari, 23, of Atlantic, was taken into custody 5:29 p.m. Sept. 22 after turning himself in to the Adams County Jail on an Adams County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended.
According to an Adams County District Court document, Solari was ordered to appear Aug. 21 for trial on the original charge and did not.
Solari was released from the Adams County Jail after posting $300 cash bond.

Daniel T. Gresham, 38, of Red Oak, was taken into custody Sept. 22 in Montgomery County on an Adams County warrant for the charge of second degree arson.
According to an Adams County report, on Oct. 28 Gersham and another male were observed on surveillance footage entering and exiting an occupied structure on Fifth Street in Carbon. The homeowner told deputies no one had permission to be on the property. Gersham later admitted they did not have permission to be there.
Shortly after the two men exited the structure it was engulfed in flames and considered a total loss. A report from the State Fire Marshal indicated the fire was intentional.
Gersham was transported to the Adams County Jail where he was released from after posting $20,000 surety bond.

Kaeden J. Foote, 18, of Bedford, was taken into custody Sept. 24 in Taylor County on an Adams County warrant for the charges of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and carrying a weapon on school grounds.
According to an Adams County report, at approximately 8 p.m. Sept. 19 a verbal altercation broke out between Foote and a minor at the east end of the parking lot of the Southwest Valley school grounds. During the altercation, 10 witnesses observed Foote reach into the passenger side of his 1998 Dodge truck and retrieve a gun; all 10 described it as a pink pistol.
Foote left the school grounds with a minor passenger in the Dodge. The passenger observed a long gun in the truck as well. Foote was located at Bedford High School after he had dropped the passenger off. A search of his truck resulted in a hand gun and two long guns being located.
Foote was transported to the Adams County Jail and held on $50,000 cash or surety bond.

Tara A. Squibbs, 41, of Corning, was taken into custody Sept. 26 on Benton Avenue and charged with public intoxication.
According to an Adams County report, at approximately 4:04 p.m. a dispute was reported in the 600 block of Benton Avenue. When deputies arrived, they observed two females, one of which was identified as Squibbs, outside.
While speaking with Squibbs, the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected coming from her person. Squibbs also had bloodshot, watery eyes and admitted to consuming alcohol. She consented to a preliminary breath test, the result of which indicated her BrAC to be .156%.
Squibbs was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from on her own recognizance on a promise to appear.
