Creston Police: Weekend arrests include driving and warrant charges

Olivia C. Henry, 22, of Mount Ayr, was taken into custody 2 a.m. Sept. 27, in the 100 block of West Taylor Street on the charge of driving while license denied or revoked.

According to a Creston Police report, Henry was observed driving a 2021 KIA K5 on Highway 34. Henry was known by officers to previously have a revoked license. Officers ran Henry’s information and confirmed she was still revoked.

By the time her information was confirmed, the KIA had pulled into a gas station, where Henry was observed outside of the vehicle pumping gas.

Henry was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Casey D. Mitchell, 37, of Thayer, was taken into custody 8:42 a.m. Sept. 28, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.

According to a Union County District Court document, Mitchell was ordered to appear Sept. 26 for a hearing on the original charge and did not.

Mitchell was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting 10% of a $2,000 bond.
