Jessica J. England, 41, of West Des Moines, was taken into custody 7:43 a.m. Sept. 11 at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charges of criminal mischief, third degree and possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, first offense.
According to Union County District Court documents, England was ordered to appear in court July 25 for arraignment on the original charges and did not appear.
England was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $3,000 cash or surety bond.

Marcos J. Bailon, 24, of Creston, was taken into custody 12 p.m. Sept. 11, at his residence on the charges of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and sexual abuse, third degree.
According to a Creston Police report, an adult female victim reported on Sept. 7 Bailon attempted to force her to have intercourse with him. When the victim attempted to stop Bailon, he assaulted her with an air fryer. Injuries from the assault were observed by officers.
The victim said when she knelt down to pick up her clothing, Bailon put his genitals on her face and told her to have sex with him. The victim said this was done against her will. The victim also told officers she was scared to press charges initially because Bailon told her he has connections in Mexico.
When Bailon was asked about the incident, he told officers they were just playing. A family member of the victim’s was a witness and heard the victim yell for help and ran out of the building with the victim.
Bailon was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $11,000 cash or surety bond.
