Creston Police: Creston business reports theft

Mika M. Luddington, 43, of Creston, was taken into custody Sept. 13 on a Union County warrant for the charge of theft, fourth degree.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:55 p.m. July 4, Luddington is seen on video footage at U.S. Cellular taking six phone cases, a charging cable and a Belkin wireless charger.

During a count of store products, a store manager noticed the items were missing and reviewed the security footage. Luddington was employed by a cleaning crew that cleaned the store at the time of the theft.

Luddington was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
