Accident: Driver cited after Wednesday collision

A driver received multiple citations after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:28 p.m. a 2023 Ford Bronco, driven by Adrian Herandez-Cruz, 70, of Lenox, was northbound on Wyoming Avenue, crossing the controlled intersection at Taylor Street. At the same time, a 2009 Dodge Charger, driven by Justin R. Louden, 18, of Creston, was westbound on Taylor Street.

The Bronco failed to yield the right-of-way leaving the stop sign and struck the Charger.

Herandez-Cruz was cited for no valid driver’s license and failure to obey the stop sign and yield right-of-way.

Damage to the Bronco was estimated at $8,000 and damage to the Charger was estimated at $4,000.
