Tyler W. Kimball, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 10:38 a.m. Sept. 2, at his residence on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:23 a.m. a fight was reported in the 500 block of North Elm Street. After viewing video footage, it was determined Kimball was the primary aggressor in the altercation. The other half of the altercation did not want to press charges.
When officers arrived at the scene, Kimball tried to go inside a house in an attempt to avoid them. After a short struggle, Kimball was detained.
After being taken into custody, Kimball was searched and told officers where to locate his methamphetamine pipe.
Kimball was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from on his recognizance on a promise to appear.
