Steven Michael Hilderbrand, 21, 1520 Royer St., Des Moines, was charged 6:39 a.m. Wednesday with second-degree theft, possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear at 809 W. Adams St.
According to a Creston Police report, Hilderbrand was in possession of methamphetamine and admitted to using the substance the night prior.
Hilderbrand was being held in the Union County Jail on $10,000 bond.
