Union County: Lenox man booked on five Union County warrants

Calvin Cerda, 22, of Lenox, was taken into custody Aug. 20, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on five Union County warrants for the charges of:

Failure to appear on the original charges of OWI, first offense and two controlled substance violations

Failure to appear on the original charges of two counts dominion or control of a firearm or offense weapon by a domestic abuse offender, person ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense

Failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked

Failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended

Failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Union County District Court documents, Cerda was ordered to appear in court Oct. 8, 2024, for a pretrial conference on the possession of paraphernalia charge and did not.

Cerda was ordered to appear Sept. 27, 2024, for pretrial conferences and probation violation hearings on the remaining original charges and did not.

Cerda was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $40,300 cash or surety bond and a Polk County warrant for violation of probation.
