Creston Police: Creston woman fails to follow court order

Candy L. Jones, 44, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:27 a.m. April 30, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of assault.

According to Union County District Court documents, Jan. 14, after being sentenced on the original charge, Jones was ordered to be fingerprinted within 30 days. Jones did not appear for fingerprinting and a compliance hearing for contempt was scheduled for April 29. Jones did not appear at the hearing.

Jones was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after being fingerprinted.
