Jamie L. Barrans, 40, of Creston, was taken into custody 11:04 a.m. April 21, at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant charging him with four counts of theft, fifth degree.
According to Creston Police reports, Barrans is seen on Walmart video footage failing to scan various items at self checkout including $5.97 in unpaid items Dec. 19, $70.69 Jan. 5, $192.32 Jan. 27 and $88.65 Feb. 8.
Barrans was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,200 cash or surety bond.

Armain M. Pazmino, 28, of Greenfield, was taken into custody 4:05 p.m. April 21, in the 600 block of Wyoming Avenue on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Creston Police report, Pazmino was observed driving a 2000 Ford F150 at Sumner Avenue and Taylor Street. Pazmino has a suspended license.
Pazmino was cited and released on a summons to appear.

Mika M. Luddington, 43, of Creston, was taken into custody 6:21 p.m. April 21, in the 400 block of North Cherry Street on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 5:56 p.m., a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was pulled over for movement of unsafe or improperly equipped vehicles. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Luddington.
During the stop, Luddington gave consent to search the Jeep. Located in the Jeep, officers discovered a methamphetamine pipe containing residue. An alprazolam pill and four propoxyphene pills were also found in the Jeep, both are Schedule IV narcotics.
Luddington was taken into custody and taken to the law center where she was again searched by a female officer. A second methamphetamine pipe containing residue and a baggie of methamphetamine were located in Luddington’s bra.
Luddington has prior possession convictions in Union County Aug. 27, 2008, and Oct. 16, 2016.
Luddington was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $15,300 cash or surety bond.

Holly R. Donehoo, 39, of Creston, was taken into custody 10:18 p.m. April 21, in the 200 block of West Montgomery Street on the charge of driving while suspended.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Donehoo was observed driving a 2013 Toyota Tundra on Montgomery Street. Donehoo has a suspended license.
Donehoo was cited and released on a summons to appear.

Chase E. Cassini, 18, of Hampton, Illinois, was taken into custody 11:14 p.m. April 21, at the Adams-Union county line on the charges of eluding - speed over 25 mph over limit and theft, first degree - possess or control property of $10,000.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:01 p.m., officers initiated a traffic stop on a 2000 Ford F250 at Highway 34 and Wyoming Avenue.
The Ford pulled to the outside lane but never came to a complete stop. It then proceeded at a high rate of speed to South Pine Street, turned west onto Page Street and south onto South Division Street before turning onto Highway 34. From the highway, the Ford turned onto Laurel Street, left the roadway and drove through the grass into the Supertel parking lot where it again went through the grass before reentering the roadway on Highway 34. The Ford continued westbound out of city limits at speeds up to 103 mph.
The Ford was discovered to be stolen from Scott County.
Cassini was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $10,000 cash or surety bond. Cassini was taken to the Union County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $10,000.
