Brianna L. Pace, 28, of Adair, was taken into custody 5:54 p.m. Feb. 24, in Adair on an Adams County warrant for the charge of failure to appear.
According to Adams County District Court documents, Pace was ordered to appear in court April 4, 2023, and did not.
Pace was transferred to the custody of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

James E. Wilson, 37, of Orient, was taken into custody 7:42 p.m. Feb. 24, in Greenfield on an Adair County warrant for the charge of assault causing bodily injury.
According to a Greenfield Police Department report, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Feb. 8, an assault was reported at the Casey’s General Store in Greenfield. Officers spoke with a male victim who stated Wilson was in the store getting pizza. He told them he and Wilson do not get along due to prior incidents. Wilson and the victim exchanged words in the store and then Wilson proceeded to set his pizza down, approach the victim and punch him in the jaw with a closed fist. The victim had pain in his jaw, experienced a headache and had visible redness on his jaw.
Video footage confirmed the victim’s account of the incident.
Wilson was transported to the Adair County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Jean M. Henriquez-Perez, 27, of Chicago, Illinois, was taken into custody 10:52 p.m. Feb. 26, near mile marker 77 of Interstate 80 westbound on the charge of OWI, first offense.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, at approximately 8:05 p.m. a traffic stop was initiated on a 2011 Nissan Altima for traveling 95 mph in a 70 mph zone. The Altima was also observed to be driving erratically, aggressively changing lanes and nearly driving into the ditch when coming to a stop. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Henriquez-Perez, who spoke little English.
Troopers communicated with him using English to Spanish Google translate. Henriquez-Perez admitted to consuming three beers and made several statements to the effect of “you can follow me to a place to stop and take my keys.” A PBT indicated his BrAC to be .181%.
After being transported to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Henriquez-Perez consented to provide a breath specimen for chemical testing. The result indicated his BAC to be .126%.
Perez was additionally cited for no valid driver’s license, failure to provide proof of insurance and fraudulent registration.
Perez was released on his own recognizance on the charges and transferred to the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to the agency having a detainer placed on him.

Janaska C. Bowles, 26, of Stuart, was taken into custody 1:54 a.m. Feb. 28, in the 200 block of SW 2nd Street in Stuart on the charge of driving while revoked.
According to a Stuart Police report, at approximately 1:32 a.m. a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado with expired registration plates was observed northbound on South Division Street. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, identified as Bowles, who admitted to not having a license and provided officers with a complaint and affidavit showing he had been arrested for driving while revoked the previous day.
His information was ran and his license was confirmed to be revoked. Bowles is also required to have an ignition interlock device installed in the vehicle and did not.
Bowles was transported to the Adair County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
