No injuries were reported Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 11:37 a.m., a 1999 Dodge Ram, driven by Jason Carleton, 45, of Creston, was eastbound on Highway 34. At the same time, a 2019 Ford Expedition, driven by Carla J. Putz, 66, of Macksburg, was westbound on Highway 34.
The Dodge was waiting for another westbound vehicle to turn south so it could turn north on South Pine Street but did not see the Ford, who was traveling in the outside lane. The Dodge turned north in front of the Ford, causing the Ford to hit the Dodge.
Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $500. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $10,000.
