Isaac W. Hayes, 26, of Creston, was taken into custody 6:24 p.m. Aug. 7, at his residence on the charge of disorderly conduct - fighting/violent behavior.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 6:10 p.m. Hayes behaved in a fight-like manor while engaged in an argument with another individual at his residence.

Hayes was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $300 cash or surety bond.

Joshua J. Jost, 28, of Creston, was taken into custody 10:53 p.m. Aug. 7, at his residence on an Adair County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of violation of probation.

According to an Adair County District Court document, Jost was scheduled to appear Aug. 2, for a probation violation hearing and did not.

Jost was released to the custody of Adair County where he was held without bond.

Paige N. Ruggle, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 12:29 a.m. Aug. 8, in the 700 block of West Adams Street on the charge of public intoxication.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:16 p.m. a resident of an apartment reported someone was attempting to enter the apartment. When officers arrived, they discovered a female, identified as Ruggle, passed out in a chair behind the apartment.

Officers were able to wake Ruggle, who was visibly very intoxicated and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. Ruggle had trouble speaking and walking and was unable to give her address. It was later discovered she lived in the same apartment building but two apartments down.

Ruggle was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where she attempted to charge her phone with an ethernet cable and vomited multiple times. She refused a preliminary breath test.

Ruggle was transported to the Adams County Jail where she was released from after posting $300 cash or surety bond.
