Union County arrest report - June 18, 2024

Hayley J. Vandel, 31, of Thayer, was taken into custody June 17, at Thayer Lake Road and Willow Avenue on the charge of driving while barred.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 3:40 p.m. deputies stopped a Ford F250 for a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Vandel, who was discovered to have a barred license. She also admitted to deputies she knew her license was not valid.

Vandel was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $2,000 cash or surety bond.
