Union County arrest report - April 10, 2024

Danielle R. Drake, 30, of Corning was taken into custody April 9 in the 300 block of Forbes Street in Arispe on the charges of possession of a controlled substance - marijuana, first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 6:01 p.m. a female was observed sitting in a 2019 Nissan Altima. A deputy approached the vehicle and the female, identified as Drake, rolled down the window and the strong odor of marijuana was detected. Drake admitted she had been sitting in the Altima smoking marijuana and to having marijuana and a pipe in the car.

A search of the vehicle resulted in several baggies, grinders, pipes, wax containers and approximately 13 grams of a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana being located.

Drake was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,300 cash or surety bond.
