No injuries were reported Wednesday after a two-vehicle accident on North Maple Street.
According to a Creston Police report, a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Lester G. Franke, 58, of Creston, was exiting an alley, attempting to cross the 100 block of North Maple Street.
A 2011 Ford Explorer, driven by Jennifer R. Fry, 39, of Creston, was southbound on N. Maple when Franke crept forward to try to see around a large dumpster obstructing his view. While doing so, the Explorer passed in front of the Taurus, the front bumper of the Taurus rubbing against the rear passenger tire area of the Explorer, causing minor damage to both units.
Damages were estimated at $300 for the Taurus and $1,500 for the Explorer.
