Accident - March 4, 2024

A driver was uninjured Saturday in a car versus deer accident near Afton.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 6:56 p.m. a 2018 Ford Escape, driven by Barbara I. Moore, 66, of Afton, was eastbound on Highway 34 when it was struck by a deer traversing the roadway.

Damage to the Escape was estimated at $3,000.
