Slick road conditions contributed to a Friday morning accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 9:02 a.m. a 2018 Ford F150, driven by Jason A. Lohoff, 51, of Creston was southbound on Elm Street near Summit Street, when it had to yield to a trolley stopped in the roadway. At the same time, while the F150 was stopped, a 2018 Ford F250, driven by Devon M. Anderson, 26, of Creston, also southbound on Elm Street, crested the hill behind the F150.

Due to recent snowfall and slick road conditions, the F250 began to slide in the direction of the F150. Anderson took evasive action and was able to steer the truck toward the curb but the rear bumper of the F250 hit the tailgate of the F150.

Damage to the both trucks was estimated at $1,500 each.
