Brady C. Gross, 19, of Creston, was taken into custody 5:56 p.m. Jan. 9 at his residence on a Union County warrant for the charges of OWI, first offense and open container.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 10:04 p.m. Nov. 2 a 2011 Ford F150, driven by Gross, was involved in an accident with a semi truck in the 400 block of West Union Street.
The truck had multiple open alcoholic beverage containers inside, and it appeared Gross had urinated himself due to a wet spot on the driver’s seat and the wet pants he was wearing.
Witnesses told officer’s Gross was the only person in the vehicle. Other witnesses made statements about Gross being intoxicated. Gross appeared to be confused and disoriented when officers made contact with him. Gross made statements to officers about consuming alcoholic beverages previously and operating the truck.
Gross was transported to Greater Regional Health for an evaluation. Officers observed him to have bloodshot, watery eyes. Gross did not consent to one field sobriety test and was not offered others due to his condition from the accident. He refused PBT testing but consented to provide a blood specimen for testing. The result of the test, according to the DCI Crime Lab, indicated Gross had a BAC of .210%.
Gross was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Angela D. Coke, 50, of Creston, was taken into custody 3:47 p.m. Jan. 9 on a Union County warrant for the charge of theft, fourth degree.
According to a Creston Police report, Coke was observed in video footage by Walmart loss prevention staff on nine separate occasions leaving the store with unpaid merchandise, totaling $399.17.
Coke was transported to the Union County Jail where she was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.

Ryan W. Feldhacker, 44, of Creston, was served on a Union County warrant Jan. 9, while incarcerated in the Adams County Jail. Feldhacker was charged with two counts of a controlled substance violation; seven counts of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense; three counts of failure to affix drug tax stamp; two counts of gathering where a controlled substance is being used; gathering where marijuana is being used; keeping premise or vehicle for controlled substance use and five counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
According to a Creston Police report, the charges stem from a search warrant executed at approximately 11:45 p.m. Jan. 3 at a residence in the 400 block of South Vine Street. Feldhacker is known to live at the address and the residence is listed as his on probation documents and his driver’s license.
Feldhacker is being held in the Adams County Jail on an additional $98,000 cash or surety bond for these charges.
