No injuries were reported Tuesday in a car versus deer accident in Union County.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 3:33 p.m. a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Macy Wiley, 20, of Creston, was southbound on Cherry Street Road near 150th Street when a deer came onto the roadway from the east ditch. Wiley was unable to avoid the animal and impact was made on the front driver’s side of the Tahoe. The deer then rolled over the top of the vehicle and was found deceased on the side of the road.
Damage to the Tahoe was estimated at $5,000.
