Charles W. Walker, 36, of Council Bluffs, was taken into custody 7:59 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Pottawattamie County Jail on an Adair County warrant for the charge of violation of probation.

According to an Iowa Department of Correctional Services report, Walker was convicted of criminal mischief, third degree and sentenced May 26, 2022, to two years prison, suspended, with a maximum of two years supervised probation. Walker violated the terms of his probation from Aug. 28 through Sept. 28 by refusing to produce a sample for drug testing twice and by continued methamphetamine use, which he disclosed to probation three times.

Walker was transported to the Adair County Jail and held on $2,000 cash only bond.

Kevin J. Jungers, 36, of Lenox, was taken into custody 2:01 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Union County Jail on an Adair County warrant for the charge of violation of probation.

According to an Iowa Department of Correctional Services report, Jungers was convicted of driving while barred - habitual offender and sentenced July 19, 2022, to two years prison, suspended, with a maximum of one year supervised probation.

Jungers violated the terms of his probation the following dates:

Aug. 17: Jungers employment was terminated, Oct. 23: Jungers was arrested in Adams County and charged with driving while barred. Nov. 18: Jungers was arrested in Union County and charged with driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia and as of Nov. 21 Jungers had not made any payments toward supervision fees or his court ordered financial obligations.

Jungers was transported to the Adair County Jail and held without bond.
