No citations were issued following a two-vehicle accident Nov. 21 in Union County.

According to a Union County report, at approximately 12:17 p.m. a 2016 Ford F150, driven by Joshua I. Recinos, 36, of Houston, Texas, was southbound on Osage Street, attempting to turn into the eastbound lane of Highway 34.

Recinos failed to yield the right-of-way when he turned in front of two vehicles and was struck by an eastbound Ford Freestar, driven by Mark E. Hockett, 51, of Arispe.

Damage to the F150 was estimated at $3,000 and damage to the Freestar was estimated at $5,000.

No injuries were reported Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 1:19 p.m. a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Andrew C. Davis, 22, of Murray, was northbound on North Sumner Street near Mills Street and slowed down for a vehicle waiting to turn ahead of it. A 2015 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Brittani L. Dillon, 30, of Greenfield, was northbound behind the Silverado, was unable to stop in time and struck the Silverado’s rear hitch.

Dillon told officers she was not paying attention and didn’t realize the truck has slowed down until it was too late for her to get stopped.

Damage to the Silverado was estimated at $300 and damage to the Elantra was estimated at $1,500.
