Creston - Nov. 20, 2023

Matthew E. Thomas, 33, of Creston, was taken into custody 3:52 p.m. Nov. 19 at Devoe and Oak streets on the charge of driving while revoked.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 3:48 p.m. Thomas was observed driving a 2007 Ford Focus. Thomas was known to possess a revoked license. A traffic stop was conducted and his license status was confirmed to be revoked due to an OWI.

Thomas was transported to the Union County Jail where he was released from after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
