Accident - Nov. 2, 2023

No injuries were reported Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 7:21 a.m. a 2022 Ford Bronco, driven by Dania Rosales Landeros, 21, of Osceola, was westbound on Townline Street. At the same time, a 2013 GMC Sierra, driven by Kellis Patterson, 20, of Patterson, was northbound on Cherry Street.

The vehicles met at the intersections four-way-stop. Patterson told officers he stopped and was almost through the intersection when his truck was struck on the passenger side by the Bronco. Rosales Landeros said she knew both vehicles were stopped but did not know what happened after that.

Damage to the Bronco was estimated at $7,000 and damage to the Sierra was estimated at $5,000.
